Brynn Monahan Charity Open is celebrating 11 years of raising money for families who have children afflicted with Spina Bifida. Color Your Corner is celebrating 7 years of decorating rooms for medically challenged kids, selected by Child Life Specialists at Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital. Registration forms will be coming out soon, but save the date. If you cannot make the event, donations are always welcome, or send us a gift card to your favorite restaurant to be used at the Reverse Raffle. More details to follow.
With today's medical advances, more and more children who used to be bound to the hospital are able to develop at home.
Color Your Corner allows for those children to develop at home, in an environment that accentuates their individual personalities.
Many of these children spend the majority of their life in their bedrooms. Therefore, a positive, fun environment can be an extension to the child's medical development by making a technology dependent environment more kid friendly.
Color Your Corner is an initiative that can be carried out nationally with the help of personal and corporate sponsorships.
